Foundry and Nodular Pig Iron
Foundry Pig Iron is mainly used in the manufacture of grey iron castings in cupola furnaces and is characterized by high quality, low impurity content, stable chemical composition.
Semi-nodular pig iron is high purity iron graded by P and S content and is primarily used in production of nodular and ductile iron.
Nodualr Pig Iron is high purity iron with even lower P and S content and is primarily used in production of nodular and ductile iron.
Basic pig iron is used for subsequent conversion into steel or manufacture of castings.
